Environment & Sustainability Policy

We at Tagdraw Ltd T/A Smallfry recognise our environmental and sustainability responsibilities, both in terms of the way in which we operate our business as well as in the environmental profile of the products that we help our clients develop and bring to the market.

Smallfry and the clients we work with are aware of the implications of our decisions. And a shift towards environmental awareness has seen people rethink what would once have been a standard day-to-day decision, with people-focused, sustainable alternatives for commuting, working, creating, and collaborating. Individuals are becoming more and more aware of the deeper impact and knock-on effects of consumerism on the planet, and as a result, we have an increasingly civic role to play in fulfilling these expectations. Through offering guidance, support, and leadership, we can rethink our pathways to benefit people, profits, and the planet.

Sustainability and sustainable production sources are high on the agenda. Efforts are being made to prioritise the environment in new, innovative ways. We’re trying to think outside the box and champion considered design through both innovations and material, to understand the full story behind product development and the impact this will have on the planet.

Smallfry strives to:

    • Monitor and improve environmental performance and seek ways to reduce environmental impacts.
    • Consider environmental factors in business decisions.
    • Comply with relevant environmental regulations.
    • Use only licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste.
    • Reduce, reuse and recycle where possible.

Design Development Process:

    • Increase awareness of the important role that designers & engineers can have in determining the potential environmental impacts of the products we design.
    • Where appropriate, encourage our clients to include environmental considerations in projects.
    • Maintain an awareness of relevant environmental regulations, legislation and standards in order to be able to support our clients with their practical application.
    • Identify and maintain practical development tools to help facilitate appropriate integration of ‘eco-design’ principles into SMALLFRY’s development work as and when requested by our clients.
    • Ensure that staff are aware of these tools and, where appropriate, provide training in their application.
